Recent Work

I use figures and objects from varied sources for my images. In recent years I have used modified diagrams of knot tying instructions. These are developed into a useful image and depicted with degraded, overworked surfaces using varieties of materials.
My interest lies in what can be added, deleted and manipulated in creating an image. The work indulges my interest in beauty through destruction/adaptation, satisfies an impulse for organization in use of the grid and systematic compositions, and the joy of investigating materials and outcomes.
